Salted Caramel Fudge Cookies

2 Cups Flour
2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
2 Eggs
1 TSP Vanilla
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
2/3 Cup White Sugar
1 Stick Butter
1/2 TSP Baking Soda
1/2 TSP Cornstarch
1 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
1/2 TSP Salt
Sea Salt (to sprinkle on cookies)
- Caramel Sauce
1/2 Stick Butter
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda and cornstarch. Set aside.
- With mixer, cream together butter and sugars. Once well mixed add eggs (one at a time) and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Gradually add flour mixture to wet mixture and mix just until combined (do not over mix)! Roll into balls (around 2 inches) and place on baking sheet and push town to form a round slab.
- Bake cookies for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven, let sit on baking sheet for 2 – 3 minutes. While still on baking sheet drizzle caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with sea salt. Remove cookies from baking sheet and place on cooling rack.
