This is one of the easiest and tastiest treats to make during Christmas time! I mean can you think of anything better than chocolate, pecans and caramel??!
Chocolate Turtles
Difficulty: EasyIngredients
50 Caramels (unwrapped)
4 Tablespoons Milk
2 Cups of Chopped Pecans
12 Oz Chocolate Chips
1/4 Bar Paraffin Wax
Directions
- Melt caramels and milk in microwave. Stir in pecans. Drop onto waxed paper that has been sprayed with cooking grease.
- Chill for at least 1 hour.
- Melt Chocolate and paraffin wax in double broiler. Once melted, dip the turtles into the chocolate mixture using a fork. Make sure to evenly coat all sides with chocolate.
- Place on a clean sheet of waxed paper and chill again.
- Keep refrigerated until ready to eat!
