Tortellini with Hot Italian Sausage

1 Package of Tortellini
1/3 Pound Hot Italian Sausage
1/2 Cup Parmesan
1/3 Cup Heavy Cream
1/4 Cup Sun Dried Tomatoes
2 Cloves Garlic
1/3 White Onion
1/3 Cup Diced Tomatoes
1/4 Cup White Cooking Wine
1 Cup Jar Marinara Sauce (I love Rao’s)
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 TSP Red Pepper Flakes
Salt to Taste
Directions
- Boil water in large sauce pan and cook tortellini’s according to package. Set aside.
- Heat oil in pan over medium heat. Add diced onion, diced tomatoes, minced garlic and sausage to pan. Once sausage is cooked through, lower heat to medium low. Deglaze the pan with wine and add salt, sun dried tomatoes and red pepper flakes. Once combined, add marinara, heavy cream and cheese. Simmer for 10 – 15 minutes. Add tortellini’s and Enjoy!
