Creamy Lobster Pasta

1/2 Pound Chopped Lobster Meat
1 Pound Bucatini Pasta
1/2 Cup Homemade or Jar Pasta Sauce (I Love Rao’s Sensitive Marinara)
3 Cloves Fresh Garlic
1 Cup Cherry Tomatoes (Cut in Half)
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Butter
1/8 Cup Cooking Wine
1/4 Cup Parmesan
1/4 Cup Pecorino Romano
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
8 – 10 Basil Leaves
1/2 TSP Red Pepper Flakes
Salt to Taste
Directions
- Boil water in a large sauce pan.
- In a separate pan, add olive oil, minced garlic, cherry tomatoes and butter. Season with salt and red pepper flakes. Cook on medium heat for about 10 – 15 minutes. Add cooking wine and basil. Cook until liquid reduces by half.
- Add marinara, heavy cream and cheese. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add the chopped lobster meat. Simmer on low for another 10 – 15 minutes.
- Cook bucatini according to package. Once cooked, add the pasta to the sauce. Enjoy!
Notes
- Buying pre-cooked chopped lobster meat makes this dish very easy to make!
Wine Pairing: I paired Station Master Red Blend out of Sonoma County with this dish and it was wonderful!
